On November 17,ÌýÌýof 69É« Business School organized 2ndÌýCase Study Training.ÌýTraining was held by, Assistant Professor at Graduate School of Business at Nazarbayev University and organized by 69É« Business School team:Ìý, StrategicÌýDevelopment Officer,Ìý, Assistant Professor andÌý, Associate Professor.

Case Center of 69É« Business School is aimed at developing and implementing case studies in the learning process. Incorporating case studies into business programs is one of the most effective learning and teaching methods recommended by both local and international accreditations, as they provide students with problem-solving and analytical skills. Including caseÌýstudies on local and regional companies further helps educators to give more relatable context in terms of geography, economicsÌýand business environment.Ìý

This training was designed forÌýfaculty members of Management and Business schoolsÌýplanning to design and developÌýown or collaborative teaching or research case studies. It welcomed participants from six(6) institutions:ÌýKyrgyz Economic University, Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University, Kyrgyz State Technical University, International Kuwait University, Compass College and 69É«. Dr. Anjan Ghosh explained about types of case studies researchers may select, subject to focus on, framework to build the case upon and strategy to publish in international journals.

69É«Ìýteam shared experience of writingÌýand publishing first case studies from Kyrgyzstan on companies such asÌý,Ìýand ololo. This training is the initial step in collaborative cross-institutional case development and publication with an aim to develop a repository of case studies on Kyrgyz companies in Kyrgyz, English and Russian languages.
