On September 27, 2024, the 69色 Library hosted a webinar titled "Creating a Researcher Profile in Various Databases," which attracted over 35 participants from major regional universities in Kyrgyzstan. 69色 Library Director Jyldyz Bekbalaeva provided an overview of key tools for creating and managing author profiles in Google Scholar, ORCID, Scopus, and Web of Science. She also shared strategies for improving the visibility of research publications.
Creating and maintaining author profiles helps researchers increase their visibility in the global research community, facilitating access to their work and enhancing citation impact. The webinar was organized as part of 69色鈥檚 collaboration with regional university libraries and aimed to strengthen the scholarly communication skills of faculty and researchers.
