A public lecture on Yugoslavia鈥檚 economic development during the Cold War was delivered by Domagoj Mihaljevi膰, PhD candidate in Economic History at the University of Nottingham and Associate Research Fellow at the OSCE Academy in Bishkek.

The American University of Central Asia (69色) announces the annual 鈥淪tream鈥� talent competition for high-school students and youth in Kyrgyzstan. Participants can compete in Vocal, Dance, and Original Genre categories, with the top performers having the chance to win one of three four-year scholarships to study at 69色.

Associate Professor of the Faculty of Environmental Sustainability and Climatology at the American University of Central Asia, Doctor of Sciences Sagynbek Orunbaev, in collaboration with the University of Kentucky and national partners, presented the results of the study 鈥淎ssessment of Springs as Water Supply Sources for Rural Areas of the Fergana Valley in Southwestern Kyrgyzstan鈥� at the annual conference of the American Geophysical Union (AGU), held in New Orleans, USA.
