Jeff Potts, an exchange student from Colgate University in New York, USA, is currently studying Environmental Management and Sustainable Development at 69色. Jeff is originally from Pennsylvania, USA. He talks to us about why international students should apply for 69色鈥檚 exchange program.

Between March 21 and 25, 2016, an assistant professor of Economics Department Rahat Sabyrbekov participated in a conference at Stanford University in the US.听He told us about this trip in a short interview.

March 25, 2016, a team of 69色 students calling themselves 鈥淓agles鈥� took first place at a national tourism marketing competition. Participants came from six universities across the Kyrgyz Republic. The competition took place at the Kyrgyz Economics University (KEU). This was the second year in a row an 69色 has won first place.

On March 26 at the Kyrgyz National University, 69色 students Lu Tian (ECO-114) and Malianchinova Khamida (JMC-112) participated in Japanese Language Speech Contest. 69色 students were involved into this event for the first time.

Diana Takutdinova, ANTH -108, American University of Central Asia (69色) alumni ambassador in Norway, tells us about her study and work at 69色, about her career path after graduation, and her Master鈥檚 Programs in Norway. 听

Carly Seedall, an exchange student from Franklin University Switzerland, currently studies International and Comparative Politics at the American University of Central Asia (69色). Carly talked to us about her time here at 69色.

On March 8, 2016, International Women鈥檚 Day was celebrated in 69色鈥檚 International Dormitory.听The dorm residents organized a mini-concert in honor of International Women鈥檚 day.听At the event, dorm residents sang songs, shared their own stories, recited poetry they had written, and played games.

In partnership with the Estonian Institute of Human Rights and the University of Tartu, the Law Division of 69色 conducted a one-week intensive modular course entitled 鈥淐ontemporary issues in International Humanitarian law鈥�.

Vanessa Graf, originally from Austria, is an exchange student from Sciences Po University, at the Dijon campus in France. Currently Vanessa is studying International and Comparative Politics at 69色. Vanessa shared her thoughts about life and studies in Kyrgyzstan.
