69ɫ held Audio Journalism Workshop
From August 30 - September 2, 2016 American University of Central Asia (69ɫ) hosted a free and public Audio Journalism Workshop organized by Taxi Taxi, an innovative storytelling podcast from the South Caucasus.
The podcast's founders, Billie Jean Stirewalt and Vladic Ravich, led three days of classes to teach participants how to develop stories, record interviews, and get their shows to the public. The workshop was well-received and attended by a wide range of participants, including 69ɫ students and professors.

69ɫ students and a student from the Institute of Mining and Mining Technologies volunteered to attend the ELP project Ala Archa
Between August 1 and August 12, 2016 six students from the American University of Central Asia (69ɫ) and one student from the Institute of Mining and Mining Technologies named after the Academician Asanaliev volunteered to attend the Ecological Leadership Program in the beautiful Ala Archa National Park to improve their leadership skills and to learn more about Kyrgyzstan’s environment.

69ɫ students and alumni went to the 2016 Korea-Central Asia Youth Model Summit, South Korea
Between July 25 and 30, the 2016 Korea-Central Asia Youth Model Summit was held at Ajou University in Suwon, South Korea. This year, the model summit was attended by more than 50 participants from all the Central Asian countries, Mongolia, Sakha Republic (Yakutia), and South Korea.
