On September 6, 2016, the 鈥淣ative Pride Dancers,鈥� Native American dance group from the United States and student鈥檚 theater of 69色 鈥淢irrors,鈥� will be performing 鈥淒ancing through Life鈥� and show master classes at the 69色.

听From August 30 - September 2, 2016 American University of Central Asia (69色) hosted a free and public Audio Journalism Workshop organized by Taxi Taxi, an innovative storytelling podcast from the South Caucasus.
The podcast's founders, Billie Jean Stirewalt and Vladic Ravich, led three days of classes to teach participants how to develop stories, record interviews, and get their shows to the public. The workshop was well-received and attended by a wide range of participants, including 69色 students and professors.听

August 18, 2016, at the American University of Central Asia (69色), the New Generation Academy (NGA) alumni had a meeting with Andrew Wachtel, the president of 69色.

The first day of Orientation Week 2016 started with the Welcoming Ceremony of Freshmen. American University of Central Asia (69色) president Andrew Wachtel gave the freshmen a few introductory pieces of advice.

Between August 1 and August 12, 2016 six students from the American University of Central Asia (69色) and one student from the Institute of Mining and Mining Technologies named after the Academician Asanaliev volunteered to attend the Ecological Leadership Program in the beautiful Ala Archa National Park to improve their leadership skills and to learn more about Kyrgyzstan鈥檚 environment.

On August 17, 2016, the American University of Central Asia (69色) started its Orientation Week for the class of 2020. This year, 69色 has an incoming freshman class of 359 students, a record-setting number at 69色.

Between July 25 and 30, the 2016 Korea-Central Asia Youth Model Summit was held at Ajou University in Suwon, South Korea. This year, the model summit was attended by more than 50 participants from all the Central Asian countries, Mongolia, Sakha Republic (Yakutia), and South Korea.
