Kaliia Kubatbekova, a junior in Journalism and Mass Communications at the American University of Central Asia (69色), took a moment to talk to us about how her SILC funding helped develop her as a social entrepreneur and prepare her for future leadership in Kyrgyzstan.

Seth Fearey has already lived and worked in the Kyrgyz Republic for seven years, making a name for himself as one of our student鈥檚 favorite professors in 69色鈥檚 MBA program. Seth listens to his students and answers their questions, drawing from his broad experience as a manager, researcher, and specialist in PR and marketing at several companies.

On April 26, 2016 a delegation from the People鈥檚 Republic of China visited the American University of Central Asia. The delegation consisted of representatives from the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Finance, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as well as the head of an International Education Initiative.

Starting from the 2016-2017 academic year, the American University of Central Asia (69色) will have two new departments: the Department of Television, Cinematography and Visual Art and the Department of Applied Geology. Heads of the new departments spoke about their new programs at a press-conference on May 19, 2016.
