On April 23, 2016, students from the Logistics and Supply Chain Management Certificate Program at the American University of Central Asia (69色) visited the Kumtor gold mine.听The purpose of the trip was to introduce students to the astronomical logistics of everyday operations at one of the biggest companies in Kyrgyzstan.

The American University of Central Asia鈥檚 (69色) Student Senate, in collaboration with Bard College, is organizing the first Model United Nations (MUN) conference for Bishkek high school students. The conference will take place on June 2, 2016.

The 69色 Center for Teaching, Learning and Technology (CTLT) started in 2013 to support the mission and goals of the University in teaching and learning. The Center鈥檚 main goals are to enhance faculty professional development, support and encourage teaching innovations and use of new technologies, finding creative solutions to contemporary educational issues, and ensuring learner-centered approach in 69色.

April 30, 2016, the American University of Central Asia (69色) held an Open Doors Day for its Master鈥檚 programs. Attendees received materials explaining the programs鈥� application procedures, listened to guest lectures relevant to each program, and sat in on seminars explaining the benefits of getting a Master鈥檚 at 69色.

CrossFit is a fitness program that has become so popular CrossFit classes and competitions are no longer an uncommon sight at universities. Recently, 69色 held its own crossfit competition for its students. The heart of the competition was the promotion of a healthy lifestyle and regular physical activity.
