On February 13, 2016 students from the Environmental Management and Sustainable Development (EMSD) program went on a field trip to the mountains near the "Polytech" ski base.Students practiced on-site measurements of water quality in the river.

“Give a Cow” charity event took place in 69ɫ
A fundraiser for the “Give a Cow” social project took place at the American University of Central Asia (69ɫ). The project was launched by the Bishkek Rotary Club one year ago. At the moment, 22 families have already received cows. Organizers plan to reach 100 families within the year.

On February 21, 2016, 69ɫ alumni Begimai Sataeva and Nursultan Sulaimanov will present their social entrepreneurship project in the finals of an IT competition in Barcelona.The young businessmen developed ARTASIAN.co, a mobile application promoting handicrafts by Central Asian artisans in foreign countries.
