Nuriza Begalieva, a Senior in the European Studies department, spent an exchange semester this spring at Sciences Po, Reims, in France. There she studied the politics of France and the European Union while also improving her French.

On November 14, 2015 69色鈥檚 student television group 69色 TV was awarded 鈥淏est Social Youth Project of the Year鈥� by Jashtar Camp 2015, held in the Kyrgyz National Library.

On December 5th, 2015,听69色鈥檚 business consulting group supported by USAID and the 69色 Career Center will be holding the 鈥淪TUDENT FOCUS鈥� forum intended for student entrepreneurship.

On November 20, 2015 NATO Liaison Officer/Head of Office in Central Asia Ms. Rosaria Puglisi visited 69色.听At 69色, Puglisi saw the NATO Multimedia Corner and the University Library.

On November 26, 2015, 69色 will be celebrating Thanksgiving Day.听Members of the 69色 community are invited to pen their own personal 鈥渢hankyous鈥� (be it to their parents, professors, friends, pets, etc.) and place them on the 鈥淭hanksgiving Boards鈥� now up in the main forum.

On 18 November, 2015 four Anthropology students received the Mary Schweitzer Scholarship for Excellence in Cultural Anthropology.听The winners are听Aidai Kadyralieva,听Gulnura Akylbekova,听Aisuluu Akhmetova, and听Altynai Abdrakhmanova.

On November 6th of 2015, the 69色 Student Senate held elections with an electronic voting system and a biometric system of authentication. 10 students听were elected to听the Student Senate.

The Shared Service Center (SSC), a new office at 69色, is pleased to announce a new functionality in registrar and financial services, including academic applications, academic forms, consultation on how to use Cash-in terminals, and some more.
