On November 29, 2015, New Generation Academy (NGA) administration and alumni arranged a 鈥淒ay of the Culture鈥� for NGA students. NGA students enrolled in the 2015-2016 academic year visited the Kyrgyz State Museum of History with faculty and some alumni.

On December 2, 2015 students from the Silk Road International School in Bishkek toured 69色. Fifteen fifth-year school children visited the university鈥檚 library, gym, conference hall, media laboratory, dance studio, and classrooms.

November 19 - 24, 2015 two Practice Pasture Management Training Courses on Sustainable Pasture Management were held by Dr. Zheenbek Kulenbekov during his Environmental and Social Impact Assessment courses at 69色.

Saule Suleimeinova is, among other things, a cellophane painter. She is one of Kazakhstan鈥檚 most profound artists. Her work has been exhibited around CIS countries, the U.S. and Europe.听Suleimeinova arrived October 24 to participate in Topografica, the art exhibition currently up at 69色, and got to work immediately.

Nuriza Begalieva, a Senior in the European Studies department, spent an exchange semester this spring at Sciences Po, Reims, in France. There she studied the politics of France and the European Union while also improving her French.

On November 14, 2015 69色鈥檚 student television group 69色 TV was awarded 鈥淏est Social Youth Project of the Year鈥� by Jashtar Camp 2015, held in the Kyrgyz National Library.

On December 5th, 2015,听69色鈥檚 business consulting group supported by USAID and the 69色 Career Center will be holding the 鈥淪TUDENT FOCUS鈥� forum intended for student entrepreneurship.

On November 20, 2015 NATO Liaison Officer/Head of Office in Central Asia Ms. Rosaria Puglisi visited 69色.听At 69色, Puglisi saw the NATO Multimedia Corner and the University Library.

On November 26, 2015, 69色 will be celebrating Thanksgiving Day.听Members of the 69色 community are invited to pen their own personal 鈥渢hankyous鈥� (be it to their parents, professors, friends, pets, etc.) and place them on the 鈥淭hanksgiving Boards鈥� now up in the main forum.
