On February 21, 2016, 69色 alumni Begimai Sataeva and Nursultan Sulaimanov will present their social entrepreneurship project in the finals of an IT competition in Barcelona.听The young businessmen developed ARTASIAN.co, a mobile application promoting handicrafts by Central Asian artisans in foreign countries.

This fall, the American University of Central Asia (69色) will launch a new 鈥�4+1鈥� educational program. After studying four years at 69色 and getting a diploma, 69色 graduates of Business Administration will be able to apply to the 鈥�4+1鈥� program to continue their education abroad.

January 27, 2016 the Deputy Chief of Mission in the U.S. Embassy in Kyrgyzstan Alan Meltzer visited 69色 and talked to students about the U.S. presidential election process.

On February 16, 2016, from 1 to 3 pm, the Red Crescent of Kyrgyzstan will hold "Earthquake preparedness" training at 69色. The training will cover how one should behave in the event of an earthquake and how to protect oneself and one鈥檚 family in the best way possible.
