On 4th of June 2015, the president of 69色, Andrew Wachtel, and graduating student of the Economics Department, Iurii Kim, took the Stone out of its historical place to move it to the new campus.

Yesterday, June 3rd, marks the opening of the first international conference in the Kyrgyz Republic on Logistics and Supply Chain Management (LSCM), with a theme of "2015 LSCM Seminar: Challenges, Innovations, and Practical Advice" at the City Hotel in Bishkek.听

Academic life is almost finished for the seniors of 69色. One of the brightest students of 2015 is Iurii Kim. He is a graduate of the Economics Department. Iurii shares his impressions and experience of these four years at 69色.听

From May 19th to 22nd in Osh and Jalal-Abad cities (Jalalabad State University, Osh State University), diversity festival "We are together" was held as part of the project "Festival of National Cultures" Diversity Week "organized by the American University of Central Asia with the support of the Regional Office of UN High Commissioner for Human Rights in Central Asia听within the framework of the project "Unity in Diversity", UN Peacebuilding Fund.

Zack Staples is a visiting student from the U.S., who grew up on the Caribbean island of Barbados. He came to Kyrgyzstan a few weeks ago, and now he is volunteering for the PR office of 69色 as well as travelling around Kyrgyzstan. Zack told us about himself, why he deferred attending Washington University for a year, and what he likes most in Kyrgyzstan.

Chair of General Education Department and professor of Sociology Department at 69色, Galina Gorborukova, contributed to the publication of a research 鈥淲hen salary is not Enough鈥� Private Households in Central Asia鈥�. The book presents a cross-country, rural-urban comparison in Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan based on secondary data and quantitative and qualitative primary research.听

Seinep currently works at The Association of parents of disabled children (APDC). She is a member and finalist of "School of Precedents" implemented by Precedent Partner Group. Seinep was a member of 69色 Alumni Council from 2012 to 2014.听

Spring semester is going to the end, and the exchange students are returning home. Sean Keller is one of them. He lived four months in Bishkek from early January to early May 2015. He shares his experience studying at 69色.

On 15th May 2015, the Anthropology Program organized the 6th Annual International Anthropology Conference "Great Game(s) in Central Asia and Beyond: Exploring International Regional Rivalry Using Cultural and Historical Lenses鈥�. The conference has invited participants to explore the historical and contemporary geopolitics in Central Asia.
