CASI Student Research Seminar focusing on Cultural and Marriage issues in Tajikistan
Yesterday, on March 12th, the Central Asian Studies Institute (CASI) hosted a research seminar on the thesis work of two senior students of the Sociology department. Director of CASI and Head of MA program in Central Asian Studies, Svetlana Jacquesson, opened the seminar with a welcoming and introductory speech.

On March 3rd 2015, the Journalism and Mass Communications department at 69ɫ hosted a lecture on the topic “Non-verbal Communications”. The lecture was held by Shuyan He, the professor of the Communications course from the Zhejiang University of Sci-technology.

Christopher Reintsma is a senior student of Psychology at the American University of Central Asia. Christopher applied for a grant from the Student Intellectual Life Committee (SILC) and received a grant supporting hisresearch in the field of mental health of adolescents.
