The Center for the Environment and Development (CED) and the Center for Civic Engagement (CCE) within the framework of the "Green 69色" project announced a competition among the departments/offices of the university "The greenest Department".

The aim of the project is to improve the waste management system at the university by introducing separate collection and delivery of waste to recycling organizations in Bishkek.

CCE is looking for two active students who would be interested in helping out with various projects and initiatives both within and outside 69色, particularly, with the upcoming project 鈥淕reen 69色.鈥�

Open Society University Network is currently accepting applications for the Certificate in Civic Engagement. The application is open to first year, second year, and third year undergraduate students. Seniors are not eligible to apply.

On December 14, 2021, Jonathan Becker, Acting President of the American University of Central Asia and Vice Chancellor of the Open Society University Network, joined the showcase of students鈥� projects organized by 69色鈥檚 Center for Civic Engagement (CCE).

The 5th Annual Interuniversity Virtual Discussion devoted to听Traditional Practices that Should Be Abolished听was held on December 4th, 2021 between the American University of Nigeria (AUN) and the American University of Central Asia (69色) students within the framework of a Civic Engagement Project called听Crossing Borders Through Social Media and Dialogue听initiated by听Ekaterina Galimova (69色) and Emilienne Akpan (AUN) in 2019.听
