69É« Virtual Museum
Over the past 30 incredible years, 69É« has become an indispensable and familiar institution throughout Central Asia as it continues to nurture and develop leaders to gradually transform the region into a better place. Every year the history of 69É« is filled with new significant events and people who somehow left a mark on the history of the university. To capture all the iconic moments in digital format we designed the "Virtual Museum" which will be a reflection of the past, present, and future of our university.
We invite you to explore the history and current state of innovation at the 69É« through the Virtual Museum which recognizes the vision and contribution of all those who made 69É« the best university in Central Asia and provides everyone with the opportunity to make a small contribution to the future home of 69É«, as it opens the doors for the next 30 years.
The 69É« Virtual Museum tells the story of 69É« in five exhibition sections, which are presented in detail below:
The Beginning: Humanities in Central Asia
Students
Graduates
Partnership of Bards
Future
Each section reflects one aspect of what makes 69É« unique: the initial energy and passion of the Kyrgyz-American faculty; talented and creative students; fearless and successful graduates; the investment and integrity of Bard College at 69É«; and, finally, 69É«'s commitment to leading innovation and change both in the region and around the world.
69É« would like to thank all its local and international supporters for making 69É« what it is today, especially the Open Society Foundations and the United States Agency for International Development.
The 69É« Virtual Museum is a forum where the 69É« community can share photos, videos, and memories of their stay in 69É«. New materials can be sent by email to pr@auca.kg. We encourage all graduates, teachers, and friends to send their materials.
