About the TALENT Program

Who We Prepare

The program prepares graduates as specialists in talent management, organizational development, change leadership, applied HRM with strong legal and managerial expertise, and research-based consulting in labor, organizations, and people at work. Beyond professional skills, it develops a unique intellectual profile: graduates are trained to develop interdisciplinary thinking, they are equipped with analytical minds and the ability to think critically, connect ideas, and translate theory into practice and see the bigger picture. Graduates become capable of interpreting complex organizational data, and leaders who design strategies for sustainable growth. They are trained to view and cultivate human potential as the central driver of organizational success and a source of competitive advantage, preparing them to act as leaders of change in dynamic social systems.

Where Our Graduates Might Work

Graduates of the program might pursue careers across diverse organizational settings, including corporate talent and people development, organizational design and change

management, leadership and learning development, as well as roles within NGOs and international organizations. They may also contribute as consultants, analysts, and researchers in think tanks, policy institutes, and academia. While some graduates may continue in human resource management, the program equips them with a broader expertise that extends to strategic, research-driven, and international dimensions of work.

Why TALENT program is Unique

The program is unique in the region because it combines managerial training with a strong interdisciplinary foundation. Unlike an MBA, which covers broad areas such as finance and marketing, this program focuses specifically on people, organizations, and work. It also goes beyond traditional HRM. While traditional HRM focuses primarily on operational functions, the program combines talent management, psychology, sociology, law, economic aspects and applied research. The program is interdisciplinary in nature and prepares graduates to understand organizations primarily as social systems and to become leaders of change who design strategies for enduring organizational success grounded in human potential.

How the Program Was Created

The program was developed under the European Union funded Erasmus+ Project “Establishing Master Programmes in HRM and Talent Development in Central Asia” (TALENT). It was created in collaboration with a consortium of leading universities across the EU and Central Asia including Vrije Universiteit Brussel, Otto-von-Guericke University of Magdeburg, Athens University of Economics and Business, Institute for the Study of Societies & Knowledge, Bulgaria, Nazarbayev University, Innovative University of Eurasia, Pavlodar, Kyrgyz Economic University, Bukhara State University, Westminster International University in Tashkent. Through this consortium, the program integrated international curricula and best practices, aligning with global standards while meeting the needs of organizations in Kyrgyzstan and the wider Central Asian region.
