Adis Sydykbaev

PROJECT COORDINATOR

Adis Sydykbaev graduated from the Kyrgyz State University, Faculty of Roman and Germanic Philology in Bishkek, Kyrgyz Republic, and began his work as a translator at the Department of External Economic Relations of the Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic, Bishkek, in 1991. In September 1992, Mr. Sydykbaev was selected to serve as a member of the official delegation of the Kyrgyz Government to the 1992 Annual Meeting of the World Bank and IMF Directors in Washington, DC. Afterwards, he worked as a translator/interpreter in various international development projects. More recently, for one year in 2010 and 2011, Adis was an integral part of the U.S. Government's team assessing the repercussions of the June 2010 violence in Osh, Kyrgyzstan and assisting the U.S. Embassy in Bishkek in responding to that violence and helping to further democracy, good governance, stability and prosperity in southern Kyrgyzstan.
