Every year American University of Central Asia 听welcomes听up to 40 new students from Afghanistan. The educational opportunity for international students, including citizens of Afghanistan is considerably increased by and international donors' support.

Donors听annually provide 69色 Afghan applicants with merit-based scholarships, thus听69色 closely cooperates with US Embassy in Kabul, OSI Foundation and 听USAID organizations.

Nowadays, Afghan community is considered to be the largest international students' group at 69色.听

Scholarships

Scholarship opportunities for students from Afghanistan are announced annually听in a period of March 1- April 30. The information about the scholarship听are听听announced accordingly.

New Generation Program听

Most students receiving Afghan Scholarships are required to attend preparatory New Generation Academy program. This program is aimed to improve students' knowledge, prepare them to admissions exams and help to adjust to the life in Bishkek and in University community.

Dormitory

Scholarship-recipients听from Afghanistan re required to live their first year in International 69色 Dormitory. Experience of living in the gathering place like听the Dormitory听helps students to be involved to events and social life of 69色,听adjust to life in Bishkek and the demands of an 69色 education.
