Transferring into 69ɫ
A student who wishes to transfer to 69ɫ from another higher education institution must submit an 69ɫ application and a complete transcript of all academic work they have completed at the other higher education institution(s). Student transfer is carried out on the basis of transcript analysis by the Attestation Committee which consists of the President, Vice President for Academic Affairs, department chairs and Registrar’s Office staff members. In case of a positive decision of the Attestation Committee, the HR office issues an order of admission.
Only courses which match the degree offerings at 69ɫ will be considered for transfer. Only courses with a grade of C or higher (in the letter-grade system) or 3 or higher (in the former Soviet numerical system) will be accepted for transfer. Grade “Passed” will be accepted only for Sports and Music classes. Grades for courses not taken at 69ɫ or taken at 69ɫ as an exchange student will not apply to the student’s GPA at 69ɫ. Prospective transfer students should consult the General Academic Regulations section and/or contact the 69ɫ Admissions Office for more information.
