Study abroad

Students interested in exchange opportunities to 69ɫ partner universities are encouraged to start planning for this experience at least one or two semesters in advance. Students should research available courses at the host 69ɫ partner university and then speak with the relevant department chair(s) at 69ɫ to determine if the courses will be approved for transfer. Students applied for semester exchange shall be nominated by 69ɫ Study Abroad Committee. Students nominated for exchange to one of 69ɫ partner universities will be placed on Study Abroad for a maximum of one semester from 69ɫ. The student should complete a check-list issued by International Student Office and submit it to the Administrative Services Center (room 234). Upon submission of the check-lists, head of International Student office submits a report on changing student status to Study abroad addressed to the Vice-President/Chief Operating Officer. Based on the approved report, the HR office issues an order.

After returning from exchange program a student is to sign a return form in the International Student Office (room 237). This return form will be used for a report to change the student's status back to active. The report is to be submitted by the head of the International Student Office for approval of the Vice-President/Chief Operating Officer, which will be followed by issuance of order by HR Office.

While abroad, students should maintain contact with their academic advisor and International Student Coordinator. While partaking in an exchange program, the student is subject to the tuition fees of their home university. The student is responsible for all other expenses, such as Room and Board, insurance, visa and travel costs, etc. More information on exchange programs to 69ɫ partner universities is available at.
