Sustainable 69ɫ
Sustainable 69ɫ is a comprehensive initiative aimed at promoting environmental responsibility and sustainable practices within the campus community. It encompasses a wide range of initiatives and strategies to reduce the university's carbon footprint, conserve resources, and foster a culture of sustainability among students, faculty, and staff. The program focuses on areas such as energy efficiency, water conservation, sustainable transportation, and education and outreach. Through collaborative efforts, the university and 69ɫ Sustainability Task Force aims to create a greener and more sustainable campus environment while preparing students to become environmentally conscious and responsible global citizens. 69ɫ is a member of the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE).

The climate is changing. Are you?

On March 28th, 69ɫ hosted a Climate Fresk workshop – a teach-in on climate justice within the World-Wide Teach-ins and as a part of the Sustainability Week of 69ɫ. More than 30 people took part in the engaging and collaborative learning with Climate Fresk.

 

The presentation of the Paper2U project was held at 69ɫ

For about half a year, containers with the inscription: “Receipts only” have stood in different places at the university. Not everyone knows why these containers appeared at 69ɫ and why they collect receipts separately from other waste paper.
